Contrast this to 2010 -- where we played a lot of fun series.
It was fun knocking out Wade. It was fucking awesome ending LeBron in Cleveland. And it was fun knocking out Dwight, although that series became a grind in itself after we blew Game 4.
This year is entirely different. These series with Atlanta, and now presumably Philadelphia are just annoying. Only bad can come out of them. We could only choke, and it would be a miserable defeat and could very well change the future outlook on the team if we blew any of these series before the Eastern Conference Finals.
There's no enjoyment of beating the Hawks, or even the SeventySuxers. It would only be a relief if we win. It's like taking a shit, I guess.

Yahoo NBA writer is claiming there will be back to backs in the next round. WTF? Did the owners really sign off on this shit?

Yes that was part of the agreement actually. I think Games 3 and 4 will be a b2b. That's absurd.

Assuming we get by ATL and Philly gets by CHI, it will be a difficult series. Philly is good defensive team, much better than Atlanta defensively and they are well coached. And we won't have a mob of Celtics fans in Philly like we do in Atlanta. I really would see it as a 6 or 7 game series.

Yes they would be. They're a very good defensive team. I could see it going seven as well. However, I am comfortable with having home court advantage to fall back on.
While the series could go seven, it is also just as likely as it could go five.
